RecoverYourDeposit respects user privacy and is designed to minimize the collection and storage of personal information.

Client-Side Processing

RecoverYourDeposit currently processes document information entirely within the user's browser. Names, addresses, landlord information, deposit amounts, dispute details, and generated document content are not transmitted to, stored on, or processed by RecoverYourDeposit servers. Generated PDF documents are created locally on the user's device.

Information Entered Into Forms

Information entered into the platform is used solely to generate requested documents within the user's browser. RecoverYourDeposit does not retain copies of generated letters or document-generation form submissions.

No Tracking or Analytics

RecoverYourDeposit does not currently use analytics platforms, advertising pixels, behavioral tracking systems, session-recording tools, or similar technologies. The platform does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Microsoft Clarity, Facebook Pixel, Hotjar, Plausible Analytics, Vercel Analytics, or similar tracking services.

Payment Processing

Payments are securely processed through Gumroad, our third-party payment processor. RecoverYourDeposit never receives, stores, or processes complete payment card information. All payment card information is handled securely by Gumroad using its own payment infrastructure.

When a purchase is completed, certain information may be shared with Gumroad solely for payment processing and order fulfillment. Examples of this information include your name, email address, purchase details, and payment-related transaction information.

Purchases processed through Gumroad are also subject to Gumroad's own Privacy Policy.

Data Retention

Because document generation currently occurs entirely within the user's browser, RecoverYourDeposit does not retain user-entered document information on its servers. When a browser tab is refreshed or closed, information entered into the tool is generally removed from browser memory unless separately saved by the user.

Information Sharing

RecoverYourDeposit does not sell, rent, or commercially share personal information entered into the document-generation tool. Information may be disclosed only when required by applicable law or legal process.

Data Security

RecoverYourDeposit takes reasonable measures to protect website systems and services. However, no internet-based service can guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

RecoverYourDeposit is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. The platform is not directed toward children.

Third-Party Services

The website may link to third-party services, payment processors, government resources, or informational websites. RecoverYourDeposit is not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party services.

No Sale of Personal Information

RecoverYourDeposit does not sell, rent, license, trade, or otherwise monetize personal information entered into the platform.

Information entered into the document-generation tool is used solely for the purpose of generating requested documents within the user's browser.

User Responsibility for Saved Documents

Generated PDF documents are created locally on the user's device.

Users are solely responsible for storing, securing, transmitting, printing, emailing, mailing, or otherwise handling any generated documents after download.

RecoverYourDeposit does not retain copies of generated documents.
